We are looking for a qualified Content Strategist to join our Marketing & Product team. In this role, you will be responsible for content strategy development, planning and maintaining the content calendar and improving content marketing tactics to achieve business goals. You will oversee all content marketing initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and positive impact on company revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets and business objectives.
  • Keep the GMS Messaging Matrix updated according to business needs and content management practice developments.
  • Develop content governance guidelines for tone of voice and brand messages, and ensure they are followed. Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency.
  • Plan the editorial calendar and content proposition. Cooperate with a team engaged in content development, writers and designers. Edit, proofread and improve content developed by third parties.
  • Identify internal talents and propose speakers and participants for expert interviews, webinars and podcasts. Identify opportunities for content co-creation with partners.
  • Conduct content audits. Identify gaps in our current content and recommend new topics, channels and formats.
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
  • Track and measure content performance, analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics, develop a dedicated dashboard with our MarketingOps.
  • Optimize content according to SEO.
  • Perform research to gain in-depth knowledge of customer personas, as well as customer insights and trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing and generate new ideas to draw the audience’s attention.
  • Ensure compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection).

 

What we expect:

  • University degree in Marketing, Journalism, or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Manager, or similar role preferably in Tech, SaaS, or Telco industries.
  • A portfolio of published articles.
  • Native English with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Editorial competency (audits to determine what content should be kept, edited, rewritten).
  • Knowledge of content management systems, content performance metrics, SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google Keyword Planner).
  • Content monetization skills.
  • Experience in handling and strategizing marketing campaigns.
  • Experience using social media for business.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
  • Multitasking and organizational skills, leadership qualities, good analytical skills to spot patterns and trends in content marketing data.
