GMS has recently expanded its Enterprise Communications business vertical by acquiring product capabilities around CPaaS, Generative AI and Conversational AI.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Partnerships who can help establish and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with mobile operators and other telecommunications players globally, with a primary objective to drive growth and expand the above-mentioned Enterprise Communications business vertical through collaborative initiatives and mutually beneficial alliances.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify and evaluate potential partners within the telecommunications industry, including mobile operators and telco players worldwide.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive collaboration and mutual success.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements and terms.
  • Oversee contract management processes, including drafting, review, and renewal as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Legal, to support partnership initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to leverage partnership opportunities effectively.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact partnership strategies and business operations.
  • Lead and manage a team of partnership professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and track progress against business objectives.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to communicate partnership performance and identify areas for optimization and improvement.

 

What we expect:

  • 7+ years of proven experience in partnership development and management within the telecommunications industry, with a focus on mobile operators and telco players.
  • Experience working in commercial areas with a deep passion for partnership.
  • Experience with SaaS, CPaaS, MarTech, or Fintech in the IT/Telco industry.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation, drafting, and management.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Fluency in English.
