With over a decade of experience in the CPaaS and messaging industry, Anurag’s appointment is a significant step in GMS’s strategy to strengthen its position in the communications industry.
Anurag has held senior leadership positions at companies such as Tata Communications, Globe Teleservices and Tanla Platforms. His remarkable tenure at the diversified Tata Group included the successful launch of the CPaaS business at Tata Communications. His industry leadership was recognized in 2022 when ROCCO named him the #1 Most Influential Person in the Industry.
Anurag is an active contributor to the industry’s growth, including serving as a Global Board Member of the Mobile Ecosystem Forum and Board Advisor & Founding Chair of the Messaging Fraud Work Group at the i3forum. Whole-heartedly committed to the community, Anurag is a regular speaker at industry events and also hosts a podcast series called “Humans of Telecom” which showcases the personal stories and human side of well-known individuals within the telecom space.
